Araceli (aka Celi) Baez
As a podiatry assistant, Araceli is well qualified with many years of experience in the podiatry field. She recently worked in the Houston area with a podiatrist before moving to East Texas with her sister. She was born in Mexico and speaks fluent Spanish but says, “my heart belongs in Texas”. She enjoys translating when needed and primarily works directly with Dr. Sowell helping him with patients. When not at work, Araceli enjoys softball, tennis, traveling, music and spending time with family. She is the newest addition to the Sowell Podiatry staff and her hard working, professional approach has made her a great fit to the team. Welcome Celi!
Janice
Hello, my name is Janice and I work in the front office where I do billing and handleinsurance. Occasionally, you will see me at the front desk and you might speak with me when calling the office. I have only been with the practice since September 2015 and I am very blessed to be a member of the team and I look forward to being here for many years to come. I have been in the medical field for 18 years and I enjoy what I do.
I am a Nacogdoches native and grew up in Central Heights where I attended school and graduated in 1978. When not at work, I love spending time with my family, listening to music and singing in the choir at University Baptist Church. I am married to a wonderful man and I’m the proud mother of two son’s and four beautiful granddaughter’s.

Hello! My name is Kim Cosby and I am the receptionist for East Texas Foot Associates! I was raised here in Nacogdoches and graduated from Douglass High School. I am married to my amazing husband, Wesley and have two handsome sons and a beautiful stepdaughter. I love and spend a lot of our free time attending my children’s sporting events at Douglass ISD, Go Indians!! I have currently been with ETFA for 6 months and absolutely love getting to know our awesome patients.

As Dr. Matthew Daugherty’s assistant, I enjoy meeting our patients / friends making their visit with East Texas Foot Associates as pleasant as possible. I was born and raised in Lufkin Texas . I absolutely love spending time with my family, going to Lufkin Panther football games, bowling, softball, hunting, and fishing. I’m a hard worker who puts her heart into everything I do, and believes in working as a team. I’m grateful to work with such an amazing team who cares about each other as well as our patients.
